You can hire Castle Toward privately for your own event or function. A staff member will be at the centre throughout your stay to make sure you are familiar with the centre’s facilities and to deal with any emergencies.

Private functions

At Castle Toward we can organise and cater for conferences, receptions, birthday celebrations, stag and hen parties or groups of friends who want a few exciting days away from it all.

The Castle has six superb public rooms to accommodate a wide range of functions such as business meetings, ceilidhs, ensemble concerts, tea dances, virtuoso performances and keep fit classes. Book the castle or just one room – we can be very flexible.

Self-programming

At Castle Toward you can design your own programme of events. Bring along the materials, equipment and tutors you need and we’ll provide the venue, accommodation, food and the support of our residential staff.

Castle Toward is renowned for art, music and drama courses - school orchestras and bands, drama and art groups regularly make use of our large rehearsal rooms. The main music room has acoustics to die for, something that we are sure the Glasgow Schools Symphony Orchestra, who have been coming here since 1955, would testify to.
