The centre has excellent safety and good practice records, endorsed by many head teachers, parents and councils who have used our centres. The safety of children and staff is paramount – you become part of our extended family from the moment you pass through the centre gates right to the end of your stay.

Our staff receive ongoing comprehensive training to ensure strict procedures and good practice are adopted in all our activities at all times.

Health and safety

Ardentinny has operating licences and is closely monitored by the independent safety organisation, Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (Registration Nos. L6321/R0748 & L6222/R0916). We follow their advice and recommendations to the letter.

Checks on staff

As you would expect for an organisation working with young people under 18, all our staff have up-to-date ‘Disclosure Scotland’ criminal record checks.
