After only two days rehearsal a string ensemble, made up of some talented ex-members of the Glasgow Schools Symphony Orchestra, performed on Sunday 16 December at our annual Christmas concert.

Energetically conducted by the Castle's in-house composer, John Maxwell Geddes, he wowed the assembled audience with his banter, psychedelic waistcoat and confession that he was now entering his fifth decade (count 'em) at the Castle.
